Wolffstrunk

Wolffstrunk is a corporate identity created for a brand of fruit schnapps and fruit liqueurs produced in a private distillery. Graphic reduction and precision characterize the visual identity. A simplified figure of a wolf serves as the design mark of the corporate design system, and the stylized shape of a drop is added to the figure. A movable head gives the mark a humorous character and allows dynamic layouts. The system includes a composite mark, business documents, bottle labels, posters, postcards, a brand book and a short website animation.

A Is Van Os

A is van Os is a book about the history of the Latin alphabet. The book shows the development of each letter across four periods in history. The changes are drawn with clear lines and bright colours, so each transformation is easy to follow. All original letterforms were hand carved in stone and photographed, as a reference to the first letters cut in rock. The hard cover carries a stone image finished with a gravel coating, which makes the surface tactile. The book measures 240 by 240 millimetres.

The accidental font used in the design Concept reflects one of the central messages of the exhibition – a call to reduce consumption in the fashion sector, a call for reasonable consumption. Graphically, the solution is based on a cross-type of a pair of fonts-strictly grotesque and openwork accidental font, resembling the folds of fabric.

FHG Brand

FHG Brand is a corporate identity designed for a manufacturer of solid-state electrochromic glass. The transparency, shapes and layers of the glass pieces reflect the properties of the products. The flat and modern mark gives viewers a three dimensional impression. The identity was also built as an interior installation of about three meters in each direction, presenting the logo and the glass products together.

Underforest: Select

Underforest: Select is a brand identity created for products of the under-forest economy in Taiwan. The logo is formed by four forest-green triangles that represent the Chinese character for forest and express the idea of coexistence with woodland. Forest-green stands for natural resources, while matte gold stands for economic potential. The packaging uses simili paper for a texture close to wood and is finished with matte gold hot foil stamping. Image integration and shared packaging standards reduce material costs and support local foresters.
