The Impression of Feixi
The Impression of Feixi is a poster created to present the identity of Feixi County. The Chinese characters for Feixi form the central visual element and are drawn in a calligraphic style. The silhouette of the first character shows modern architecture and recent developments, such as bridges, high-speed railways and buildings. The silhouette of the second character shows ancient buildings and historic cultural sites. The calligraphy is hand-drawn and then merged with the selected images through image editing software. The poster measures 297 by 210 millimeters.
The Impression of Feixi Poster by Hong Sun has been recognized as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. The Impression of Feixi Poster was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2024.
