SDDA
SDDA is a corporate identity created for a dancesport association based in Shandong, China. The previous logo used a detailed dance figure that was often confused with the marks of other associations. The new identity simplifies the posture into a single continuous line. The line combines two dance partners, a mountain and rotating dance steps. Ten related graphics show classic dance postures and make the relationship of the body easier to read. The identity is applied at competition venues, in print and on social media.
SDDA Corporate Identity by Guorong Men has been highlighted as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. SDDA Corporate Identity was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2022. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which recognizes exceptional design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
