Traveling
Travel and Happy Things is a series of illustrations about travel and joy. The series is painted by hand with acrylic paint, which is bright and waterproof. Each work measures 145 millimeters in height and 100 millimeters in width. One scene shows the harvest festival of the indigenous people of Taiwan, where people hold hands and dance around a bonfire. Another scene shows a single traveler walking at a calm pace in a foreign street. The colorful images recall the freedom of travel and social life that was limited during the pandemic.
Traveling Illustration by Wen Lung Cho has been highlighted as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Traveling Illustration earned the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2022. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which celebrates exceptional design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
